With her 17 years of experience in passenger services, border security, trade facilitation and revenue collection at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, collector Talusan has spearheaded and delivered numerous projects and reforms that enhanced the Bureau of Customs Airport operations.

As a collector of customs who rose from the ranks, she has received distinguishing awards in leadership including “Outstanding Filipino Achiever” for public service given by Parangal ng Bayan Foundation, “Breakthrough and Leadership Award” from dale Carnegie leadership program and several awards on collection performance and awarded with the most number of border control seizures in bureau of customs.

Collector Talusan’s background and expertise enables her to continuously share best practices and conduct lectures. Her exposure to Asia-pacific economic cooperation summit and world customs forum allows her to help in improving customs processes, border protection and airport operations.
